Musicians can be dime-a-dozen, but there is only one man known as tha K-MAN. The Biloxi, Mississippi native was always into music, the arts, and more, but it wouldn’t be till 2012 that tha K-MAN began hitting the ground running in the music realm. And since that time... has manifested into a versatile and multifaceted wordsmith with an insatiable drive and determination to make it to the top. His music ranges from Hip-Hop to Rock.

Known for a very dynamic and innovative rhyming technique, tha K-MAN has built on a craft that gives him his own signature sound and stylization that stems from life experiences, and also a vast array of eclectic artist influences over the years. Some of his cornerstone musical inspirations range from industry heavyweights including J. Cole, Nas, Eminem, Johnny Cash, George Strait, Frank Sinatra, and a multitude of different artists from many genres.

A majority of his music springs from personal experiences within his life, and those he calls "true family". None as personal as his 2016 "Final Good-bye", which focused on three very "close to the heart" situations. His loss of his father to a drug overdose (not knowing if it was accidental or not), a death of a close friend, and a love that was in a right place, but wrong time were the driving force behind it all.

But it was his hip-hop single from 2012, “Calm Before the Storm”, that would spark the lightening in his heart and thunder in his soul for actually putting his music out there for the world and more to hear. The very next year, tha K-MAN would go on to release his first EP, “Story of a Lifetime”, including five other songs, along with his debut single.

In December 2017, tha K-MAN released his acclaimed single “My Wolves”, which amassed a prominent street buzz and garnered the artist many new listeners. With a more darker tone in the song, it has been his most menacing song to date. It wasn’t all gloom for tha K-MAN, however. In that same year, with his love of the Spanish culture, he released “Spanish Butterfly”. A song he is quoted as saying was inspired by musician/actress, Selena Gomez.

2018 saw the release his first ever instrumental album, "Wild Run" - Inspired by his novel of the same name (released in 2009). From there on, 2018 was found to be a very busy year for tha K-MAN with the release of a new “Rockin’” sound from the artist. “Decision Time”, which was also an instrumental, would have tha K-MAN cross the music streams and have him producing a rock rhythm. He would top off the year with the holiday season of 2018 by creating magic with his instrumental, “Timeless Memory”— A Christmas melody, set to remind everyone of the joyful Christmases of the past.

2019 would bring more from the never-ending creative mind of tha K-MAN as he would release two new songs, including one that would be connected with raising money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. For the first three months of it’s release, tha K-MAN donated 100% profits from his single release, “1 Life, 1 Choice, 1 Sacrifice”, to the charity. As fashioning as the year prior, tha K-MAN would end his music year as he walked through the shadows of the night with his All-Hallows-Eve inspired instrumental, “Creatures of Darkness”.

2020 would finally bring forth two projects from tha K-MAN. First being an instrumental piece that consisted of Rock with a little bit of Soul in it, in the release of “Back to the Roots”. K-MAN said it was his way of going back to the music he grew up listening to in that of Country, Rock ‘n Roll, and Soul. To round out the year, he would release a “Best of tha K-MAN” album—the first full album since his “Story of a Lifetime” EP. Tracks on the album included a mini interview from the mastermind, and how he created each of his creations. Along with fan favorites from tha K-MAN, he included a new song, “What Are We Standing For?”-- A rewritten country (now Hip-Hop) song he wrote in 2010, and the inspiration behind his 2013 documentary, “Veterans UnAffairs: the Frank Gann Story”. The Album also included two pop bonus instrumental tracks-- Both produced by tha K-MAN. It had been rumored, at that time, that this would be his last album, but like with all things in life, nothing is guaranteed. As dually noted with the release of a new holiday-ish winter instrumental in 2022 titled “Winter Battle” and then his 2023 Electronic/Pop instrumental “Unbreakable”. As tha K-MAN is quoted as saying, after the release of “X the Boundaries (Best Of...)”, “It will be up to the fans on that one.” Regardless, tha K-MAN is said to be working on a Country single that he wishes to release in the near future, and is now host of a Podcast properly named, “Thoughts of a Krazy MAN”.

No matter what the future may bring, as tha K-MAN continues to compose, create, manifest and spread the heat from now and beyond, you can be sure that he will continue with his mantra, "X the Boundaries".
